Corinna Wagner is an Associate Professor of Literature and Visual Culture at the University of Exeter. Her research interests include photography and 19th-century visual culture, art and anatomy, and the relationship between medicine and the arts.
Her new book, Art and Anatomy: The Body and Visual Culture, will be published soon. She is also the author of Pathological Bodies: Medicine and Political Culture and Art and Soul: Victorians and the Gothic. She edited A Body of Work: An Anthology of Poetry and Medicine and Gothic Evolutions: Poetry, Tales, Context, Theory.
Wagner is currently working on a photography project called Transparent Bodies.
